George Wright Padgett

Science Fiction • Steampunk Detective • Horror

George Wright Padgett is a multi-genre author who grew up in Houston, Texas reading science fiction and comic books and made certain to catch every movie in the genre at the local cinema. After a brief stint writing children’s picture books (winner of the 2006 Joan Lowery Nixon award), he turned to darker themes. Since then he’s produced a mix of novels in the sci-fi, steampunk detective, and horror genres.

His non-writing time is divided between being a husband and father of two, a jazz piano player, a graphic artist, and a playwright.
