Grey Gecko Press is offering free ebooks to readers who review our books on Amazon, GoodReads, personal/reviewer blogs, our website, and elsewhere. As we’ve mentioned before, reviews are one of the best ways you can support indie authors and small press publishers like Grey Gecko. With as little as two words and just 3-4 clicks, you can tell the world about your experience with one of our titles.

Here’s how to get your free ebooks:

  1. Review any of our books and short stories on Amazon, GoodReads or elsewhere.
  2. Send us an email with a link to the review (see below), and let us know which book you’d like to read next. Make sure to specify which format you need, too (ePub or Kindle).
  3. We’ll send the ebook in your preferred format to your email address.
  4. Repeat Steps 1-3 for as long as you like!

Yes, if you’ve already reviewed one of our books previously, that counts! Just start with step 2 above! We don’t require positive reviews, but we do appreciate honest ones. We also recommend that you note somewhere in your review that you “…received the book free in exchange for an honest review.”

Linking to your Amazon Review

There’s a very easy way to send us the link to your Amazon review:

  1. Post your review, then wait for it to show up on the book’s page.
  2. Click on the title of your review. This will take you to a separate page just for that review.
  3. Under the text of your review, you’ll see a link that says “Permalink.” Either click that and copy the text in your address bar, or right-click the word “Permalink” and choose copy. Paste the link into your email to us.
